Shakespeare Camp, (Grades 7-12)
This two-week camp is an intensive exploration of one of Shakespeare’s wonderful plays; actors are immersed in Shakespeare’s world. The training includes activities ranging from scene preparation and text interpretation to an exploration of commedia. Shakespeare camp culminates each year in a fully-staged adaptation. Each student will participate in all four performances. This class is great fun for all, regardless of level of experience.
Course dates: Mon.-Thurs., June 20-June 23 and June 27-July 1, 9:30am-4:30pm

Splash Into Theatre (Grades 2-6)
Splash Into Theatre is a great introduction to acting. This camp focuses on different skills that budding actors will want to explore. Students work on physical expression and awareness, vocal style and creative collaboration. These young actors develop their spontaneity, staying in the moment, storytelling skills and scene-building with a partner, all in a fun and safe environment.
Course dates: Tuesday-Friday, July 5-July 9, 10:00am-3:30pm; Tuition: $165
Fractured Fairytales (Grades 3-6)
Campers spend two weeks finding new ways to interpret familiar stories. How will the Crocodile Hunter save the day for Thumbelina, Cinderella and Ariel the Mermaid? In this course, imagination, collaboration and a willingness to play are all key factors in the fun to be had. The students will create characters and skits from the collective imagination of the whole group. All levels of experience are welcomed.

Comedy Crew (Grades 8-12)
For students seeking to invent characters while getting laughs, we offer Comedy Crew, a camp with a sense of humor. This session explores skits, scenes, spoofs, infomercials, stand-up and revues. Each piece is developed from original material created by the Comedy Crew campers. Our program features study of and training in contemporary and classical comic techniques, and culminates in a showcase revue that flexes the collective-genius muscles of the entire crew.

Teen Acting Intensive (Grades 8-12)
In Teen Acting Intensive, campers are immersed in a variety of master classes taught by actors, directors and movement specialists from the community. This camp gives a full theatrical experience using a multidisciplinary approach that is both challenging and rewarding. European-style acting, Meisner and Viewpoints are the the focal training techniques. This one-week camp is by audition only, so please call (541) 684-6988.

Physical Comedy/Stage Combat NEW HALF DAY Camps!
Actor & certified stage combat instructor Bill Hulings teaches safe skills for physical comedy and stage combat. Learn convincing falls, slaps and fights in a safe and non-violent environment.
These are half day camps: Grades 2 -5 mornings/Grades 6-12 afternoons.

Scholarship Information
Scholarship are available through grants provided by Spirit Mountain Community Fund, Weyerhaeuser Family Foundation, and US Bancorp Foundation. Download the scholarship application here or call (541) 684-6988 to have a form mailed to you. Return it with your registration. Full and partial scholarships are available.
Scholarship Guidelines
- Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Please return the application along with a completed registration form. Both must be filled out completely to be considered.
- All students must arrive on time for class. Excessive tardiness could affect future scholarship eligibility and may result in dismissal from class.
- Students must attend at least 80 percent of classes. If a student misses more than 2 classes per term or more than 1 class per summer camp, the child will be ineligible for scholarship for a one-year period. In case of emergency, call the Managing Director as soon as possible.
- Inappropriate behavior in class could affect future scholarship eligibility and may result in dismissal from class.
- Students are eligible for only one scholarship per registration session. (i.e,. Fall session, Winter session, Summer camp).
- Scholarships do not carry over from session to session. An application is necessary for each class session.
- Scholarship application must be received by June 1st. No faxed applications will be accepted.
- A registration fee of $15 must accompany scholarship applications. This is the minimum family contribution.
Cancellation Policy
A drop fee of $100 will be charged for any cancellation made up to a week before the first day of camp. Thereafter, class fees are non-refundable. Classes canceled by the theatre will be refunded in full. Please check your calendar carefully before enrolling. All classes must meet minimum enrollment to be offered.
